Chris Bosh – Toronto Raptor Basketball Star

These celebrity divorce stories sadden me but this one is in fact true….
Toronto Raptor Basketball Star Chris Bosh is currently being sued for child support based on allegations of his former girlfriend. The ex-girlfriend claims that the couple planned to have a child together prior to the breakup!
However it is reported that Mr. Bosh left his girlfriend in her 7th month of pregnancy. She is now requesting full custody of their child and child support.
Mr. Bosh makes approximately $14.4 million a year and if he was here in California it might be in his benefit to spend some time with the child! Otherwise, the less time spent, the more money is paid for support.
Just for fun I ran a very rough calculation for child support here in California and without mom working, it looks like Mr. Bosh could pay upwards of roughly $80,000 A MONTH. Now in another state or country the rules may be different, but in the celebrity divorces I hear about this level of child support is not out of the question.
Courts all over the western world often rule that a child has the right to share in BOTH parents life style. So maybe this isn’t so bad….you be the Judge….
